The Concept
An L-shaped timber frame building that embraces the existing elevated sawmill slab, transforming industrial heritage into campground hospitality. Two distinct wings — connected by a covered stone-and-timber breezeway — follow the slab's natural irregular footprint. The angle of the L creates a welcoming gesture toward the campground entrance, while the sheltered courtyard between wings becomes a gathering patio overlooking the playground below.
